Insulation: XLPE (Cross-linked polyethylene)
Bedding (optional)
Inner sheath: PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)
Lead cover (lead sheath): alloy
Bedding : PVC (Polyvinyl chloride)
Armour: Galvanised steel wires (SWA) or aluminium wires (AWA) for single core cables
Outer sheath: PVC (Polyvinyl chloride), UV resistant. Colour: black.

1 core: black
2 to 5 cores: according to HD 308 S2 and BS 7671
> 5 cores: printed numbers
> 5G cores: printed numbers + green/yellow core
Marking
NEXANS 279 year construction 0.6/1 kV n (G or x) S mm²
Other fire performances IEC 60332-3 Cat A or C on request.
Minimum bending radius:
1 core: 10 x outer diameter
Multicores: 8 x outer diameter
