Usage
IEC 60502-2 or NF C 33-220 cables are for public power distribution network 12/20 kV.
Design
The cable is made of not armoured 1 core. A semi conductive tape is layed beneath copper screen.
Insulation
The polyethylene cross-linking process ensures:
- Excellent heat resistance (90 °C)
- Good mechanical strength
- Excellent behaviour under short circuit conditions (250 °C)
- Extremely good resistance to low temperatures
Drumming
All drum types, lagged or not, up to a diameter of 3.00 m and a total weight of 12 t.
