The 24CSJ-S2 RF RSM combines Cold-Shrink and bolted connectors technologies for reliable undergound MV connections in a small trench (max=1 m).

Bolted Connectors :

  • multisection, from 95 mm² to 240 mm².
  • compatible with copper & aluminium cores.
  • compatible with Synthtic Insulated Cables (SIC).
  • equipped with self-breaking screws, for a perfect torque.
  • no specific tool needed

Application

The 24CSJ-S2 has been designed to connect 12/20(24) kV SIC cables, with sections from 95mm² to 240 mm², whether aluminium or cuivre cores, on undergounnd MV lines.

Each core is connected thanks to a bolted connector..

Details

Each 24CSJ-S2 RF RSM kit is made of:

- 3 cold shrinkable body.

- 3 bolted connector.

screen interconnection device.

Installation

These junctions can be installed in the ground or in the open air. This technolog requires no heating source, no material filling or wrapping. Operating is done by removal of the blue tubes. Joints can be enpowered once assembly is finished.
