Nexans has launched a global transformation towards Industry 4.0, built around several complementary pillars: automation, data, predictive maintenance and the digitalization of operational performance.

Within this framework, Fabriq is the platform selected by Nexans to digitize its performance management standard in its plants. It is being progressively deployed across around forty manufacturing sites, in France and worldwide.

At Group level, Schneider Electric is Nexans’ partner for this global transformation (architecture, integration, digital innovation), of which Fabriq is one of the operational bricks, used directly on the shop floor.

What Fabriq changes in French plants

In Nexans’ plants in France, Fabriq is replacing paper boards with digital performance boards available directly on the shop floor. This allows teams to:

• monitor key indicators (safety, quality, delivery, costs) in real time,
• structure discussions during shift handovers,
• record incidents and track corrective actions.

Daily routines (start‑up checks, safety audits, 5S, etc.) are standardized and digitized, making life easier for operators and front‑line managers while strengthening operational discipline.
